Problem with Google, is that they are so dominant and track & trace people unwillingly everywhere on the web, apps, devices (android) and browsers. It would be great to tame the beast a bit, for example by this great and completely free, open source alternative: goatcounter.com that really provides anonymity of your website visitors. (Google only needs three more data points to bring the ‘anonimized’ data/behaviour back to an individual And since they’re Google… you get the point.)
